Integration in minority languages – benefits and challenges

20.08.2021 kl. 15:00
Webinar September 2nd at 14 - 15.30.

Immigration into bilingual or multilingual societies raises the question of which language newly arrived immigrants should learn in the state-provided integration programmes.

Folktinget, together with several other organisations, works with integration matters in promoting and clarifying the Swedish integration path in Finland.

But how is integration in lesser-used languages handled in other countries? What good practices are there from other regions and countries that could be considered in Finland?

The webinar was arranged on Thursday the 2nd of September 2021.
